My journey towards becoming a counsellor in Redruth, Cornwall, and online started with me seeking my own counselling at the age of 21. I had the usual nerves and stress about reaching out, but once I did, it changed my life forever. Counselling gave me a space to get my feelings out in the open and see them more clearly, and eventually I decided to change career paths to become a qualified counsellor in order to give as many people as possible the help they need to overcome their difficulties. I qualified nearly 10 years ago, and have since learned a number of different modalities to improve the efficacy of my counselling.
